Bill Would Outlaw Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

For at least the ninth time since 1974, a bill that would ban discrimination based on sexual orientation has been introduced in Congress.  In addition to sexual orientation, the latest version of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act also seeks to add gender identity to the list of prohibited reasons for firing, refusing to hire, or taking any type of discriminatory action.

The House and Senate versions of the bill can be found here.
